Flights and Transfers

Flying out on 21st staying at the Breza in Borovets. Just wondering how long the transfer is and is it dodgy ? i.e. will the coach be going up hills with no barriers and are the coaches 40 years old!

Also we're flying with European Airways (EMA) who i've never heard of before and am wondering if their planes are 40 years old? and will they need to be jump started from a vauxhall corsa!

re: Flights and Transfers

Hey Pete,

I flew from Manchester with Astreus (Inghams booked) at the start of January and no i'd never heard of them until then. The plane was new and modern and the meal was great. Shame you had to pay for the booze. I'd guess your charter will be similar (maybe?).
Transfer time from Sofia was 1hr 20 mins to Boro. Excellent road (bit twisty and snow covered but great views), nice coach, careful driver. Eastern Europe is not what you expect, it's thriving and becoming properous.

Hope ...

re: Flights and Transfers

Hi Pete

We flew with European air last month from Birmingham and had never heard of them.. The plane is small (26 rows in all ). Excellant service and nice meals. No tv on board but the flight was only three hours! Had the wind behind us!! Transfer was in a modern coach and we got there safely in just 1 1/2 hours.

Hope this helps. Have a great holiday! I have only got another 11 months to wait.... Confused

re: Flights and Transfers

European Air is I belive an extremly large travel group. They come under Travel city Direct wich is the largest tour operator flying into Florida! So you should be ok.
