Flights to Bansko

Hello everyone and a very Merry Christmas and Happy Skiing to you. Have been picking up a few rumblings about flights to BG and safety etc, etc. As two very nervous flyers going out Feb 1/2 term to Bansko, do we need to be afraid or VERY afraid of the flight?! What can we expect? I've cajoled my friend to go with me for the week and am really worried I may have dropped us into something awful. Any thoughts? Cheers.

I can't remember one crashing so you should be ok. Sit near the black box, that always survives.

Hi Roo, there is nothing to worry about the flights, they use old aircraft but they are quite safe ( they have to be to be able to fly into the UK.) Have a great time and ski safe.

hi roo do not worry i have been several times to bg the only thing to worry about is the food on the plane the flights have never been a problem i took a very nervous flyer last year and he is going back with us in jan have a good time ski safe

I've been three times now and I am also a very nervous flyer. Take some reading material to settle your nerves, maybe a bible.....

this will be my first time going to BG the only thing i am also worried about is the flights but they have got to be safe to fly in and out of the U.K

hehe Bulgaria air's planes are a bit sketchy but as howard said above thier planes have to be as safe as any other air travel company just to fly into the UK

All of Balkan Holidays charter flights this year will use Airbus aircraft. The old Tupolev's that Balkan haved used in the past have now been retired.
