Flip flops needed for Rila swimming pool?

Flip flops needed for Rila swimming pool?

We're flying out on 14/2, staying at the Rila in Borovets. I have heard that sometimes hotels require their guests to wear flip flops in and around the pool area as the tiles can be slippery (were lethal last year in Serbia!). Anyone know please if that is the case for the pool at the Rila? Question

Hi Helen

Flip flops are advisable but not required in Rila, as it can be slippery. Changing rooms rarely lockable so mine go down in flip flops and towels from their room. Very Happy

if you don't want to slip over and break your ankle, wear flip flops, whether they are required or not!!

Thanks for the advice Borogirl & Snowy Norman - better get on eBay and track down some flip flops for my son pronto!

It get's very slippy at all the swimming pools.
Better to wear them ! also in the bathroom - or stand on a towel.
