Has anyone stayed at the flora hotel if so have you got any info go on sunday

We are going to Flora apts on friday if hotel is anything like apts you will have a great time.Went twice last year & went into flora hotel reastaurant couple of times.Meals & prices great.Lets hope the snow is good for us,even though weve never been skiing before

I stayed there form 24 feb to 3 march. It is very central. About 2 mins walk from gondola. Food is much better there than other hotels. Rooms are fine. Cleaned every day and clean towels every day. Any other questions?re: Flora Hotel borovets

You'll have a great time. Only thing when we were booking out the tried to charge us for stuff from mini bar which we didn't take. It was only 3 levs. The stuff they were charging us for wasn't in there the first day we got there then they put some in during the week. Our holiday rep sorted it out for us. Apart from that I wouldn't have any complaints with the hotel and would stay there again.re: Flora Hotel borovets
its ok food can be cold, otherwise small and friendly. close to nursery slopes 5 mins downhil to gondola. bit of a pain to have to walk to gondola to collect ski gear and then treck back up to chair lift.curtains useless hope you like early rising ! hotel ela does 2 for 1 cocktails till midnight. sunski bar opposite samokov v. friendly also golden horn bottom of slopes opposite rila great steaks and fun to watch night skiing

returned from flora hotel on saturday - lovely hotel, very warm, clean, nice staff and very close to gondola station which is a must at the moment since snow conditions at bottom of slopes aren't great so most people having to get gondola up to ski - so closer you are the nearer to front of queue you'll be when it opens at 8.45!!
Food wasn't fantastic, breakfast was standard buffet, bit on the cold side but plenty of it and more kept being brought out - there's a microwave on the cereal ...

Dinner was ok some nights, wierd mixture of food types/choice but generally something to suit everyone. Drinks were quite exepnsive compared to the local bars - but that's normal with all hotels.
Rooms cleaned properly daily and clean towels daily also.
Only down side (apart from cold food) was the noise, we faced the car park so could hear cars/vans early morning/late night, also we were in a studio type room and walls were either very thin or out neighbours were inconsiderate and played music/tv extremly loud.
But please don't be put off by that - i would recommned the hotel and will stay there again.. after staying in the Olymp a few years ago the Flora is like a palace!!
