Just to let you all know that I was talking to a friend last night who in turn has a friend (british) who works in Sofia. I mentioned the flu epidemic and she texted her friend who rang back to say that there was no large scale problem as far as he was aware. All schools open etc. In fact he was quite surprised to hear about any such problem.
I think it may be a bit of scaremongering by the media which has been exaggerated and I think we should all just look forward to our holidays. I ...

Has anyone thought that it is us that is spreading it while on the flights. a guy with us had a chest infection that he had for 2 months before he went. Next thing you know 3 of our group had it.Sapper

you all need a mask for the plane one which a doctor would were belive me i was fine when i gone on to come home but all the coughing and all that go with it done us we all had a week and half off work with the the flu still great holidayre: Flu Virus Latest
Came home with the flu (well a heavy cold actually - Im a girl obviously if I was a boy I would call it a flu). I got it on my last day there which made the journey home a nightmare. I hopefully contaminated the whole plane!

I've had a cold/ allergy for about 6 months, spent 2 different weeks in Pamporovo in January and found within the first 2 days i felt fantastic! So healthy all that mountain air i want to live there.
