Food in Bansko

Well as food came up..I opened my apetite My friends and i will be flying to Bansko for the first time.
Can anyone please give us an idea of what kind of food to find...any specialities etc? And any recomendations about restaurants will be greatly appreciated!

Loads of places. Bansko is full of loads of little Mehanas where you can get beautiful local dishes. A lot of pork dishes and cheeses. Most resturants translate the menus into english so you can see what you are getting. Food in Bansko is really nice. If you are paying HB it's still worth eating out as the best food is away from the hotels and it's cheap.
