Food in Boro

Going out to Borovets on 27th Jan, can't wait. Can anyone tell me what the food is like? staying in the Hotel Bor. What do people in Bulgaria eat?

schkembe chorba - tripe soup. Food of the Gods, with plenty of garlic and chilli.

Locals eat Tripe and lots of it, our instructor last year ate Tripe Soup everyday for his lunch and it smelt vile.

As for eating out well put it one way I could not wait to get home for a decent meal!

I was in Boro last Feb and we had some bad meals and some good meals but had a fantastic time. My wife and daughter can be really fussy and always found something to eat.
