Food

Hi everyone, Im off to Borovets in two weeks skiing, cant wait, just really would like to know what the food is like out there. Ive spoken to one person who said it wasnt very good when they went, but it was a few years ago. Can anyone help.

All depends on where you go, but I found eating out was in the main very good. It's westernised and touristy so don't worry about being stuck on goulash for a week Wink

I've noticed most of the complaints are about cold hotel food. Best places I got food were
1) Hunter's - Eat here once you'll be back. Turkish place, great food especially Chicken Fillets or Kebabs. Meat is cooked in front of you over charcoal.
2) Blue - Place that you might not associated with good food, but it ...

3) Alpine - About as English a looking place as you'll find, clean modern and decent food
4)Franco's - Food is nice, waitresses even nicer.

There's loads of other places, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexian etc. Can't go wrong.

It'd be more constructive if you suggested places for him to visit. Although by the tone of your message I'm not convinced you're beyond parental spoon feeding.

Thanks for your help, we are going half board so most food will be in the hotel but we do want to eat out a few nights so ill def try some of the places that you have suggested. Cheers Very Happy
