Footwear

Soooo, only 3 more weeks until we hit pamporovo.
And looking at my final purchases before we go. Just wondering, when you lot are not skiing or boarding what footwear do you go for? Could I get away with just trainers or do I need to invest in some walking boots like these http://www.johnlewis.com/271434/Product.aspx

Probably a silly question Razz

re: Footwear

Not silly at all Vincent - that's why we are here.

Trainers will be fine provided they have a good solid grip on them. There's no point in spending loads of money on something you may not use again at home, so just make sure you are not going to slip all over the place and you'll be fine.

we lived in our snow boots when not sking/ boarding in Boro last week as there was no real paths or road just snow covered everything.

re: Footwear

Thanks for the info people!
I think I will opt for leather trainers and the yak track snow/ice sock things!

re: Footwear

Not a silly question, so much snow it is hard to keep pathways clear. We all managed to fall over, boots with good grip would be my tip. Very icy. Have fun !
