Hi Pete
we have just got back.
1 extra night in Vienna due to a problem leaving Sofia.
Austrian airlines were great, 2 rooms in a hotel with B+B+ evening meal plus the drinks.

Sorry about the bad news for the road to Pamporovo but its good to know now than latter. This is the latest info that I have from the inlaws as they phoned us 15 mins ago

Glad you're back safe after your detour, sounds like you just missed out on another one too!

Any idea yet how long they think the Pamps road will be closed?

Must catch up in the Spring sometime - you and the girls fancy a BBQ sometime?

Not sure how long the road will be closed for, but for now, all traffic is going via Smolin. Long way around
