I have used the bus service twice and its effortless cheap and efficient. Takes about 4 hours as it stops for half an hour on the way but other than that its fine. From memory it cost 18lev 1 way.

first time I got one of the rip off taxis from the airport and cost me 20 lev so beware use the yellow OK taxis and make sure his meters on Sad

Sofia central bus statoion is more as an half hour, without stop and go, away from Airport. The price will be around 10 lev thats true. it seems to be 15 km drive from the airport to the CBS, you can even catch the bus from airport to the CBS.

Did the bus trip just before Christmas - the price is 20lv. I have done it several times and the coaches have always been on time, and comfy

The price for a taxi to the bus station does vary - depending on the traffic etc, but the most expensive I have paid is 12lv.

P.S. Check out that no bus from these has Pamporovo as arravial so look out in advance witch one you need.

I am flying Belfast - Luton - Sofia on Thursday 14 January, anyone on the same flight travelling to Pamporovo, could share transport!
