For those own their own ski's or board

Besides ensuring that your edges are sharp and bases waxed, rub some Zardoz not-wax on your newly waxed base and edges. this will make your ski's/board faster and preserve the waxed base for longer. Zardoz is PURE teflon and also prevents rust forming on your edges if you apply it to your egdes every evening after drying out your ski's/board.

Speed is my friend! Razz

Any boarders in the photos we took last year are just sitting down! Seriously, though, my hubby fancies having a go at boarding this year ... I'll stick to skiing

I agree Kerry. As long we can all share the mountain then I don't understand the animosity between some skiers and boarders. I have only ever come across this animosity when skiing on-piste but never when off-piste skiing. I think that this has a lot to do with the fact the when boarders go down a groomed slope and control their speed they inevitebly push quite a lot of snow down with them which tends to aoccassionally leave an icy patch which some skiers don't like.

I say we should all ...

I say we should all just get on with one another! Very Happy

Totally agree, first thing i was taught when i learnt how to Board was how much boarders hate skiers, luck i took no notice of such rubbish. After all we are all there for the same thing, lots of white powdery stuff
