It's nice to see the diehards still posting on this site. This time last year it was absolutely dead!, and just think, we probably couldn't be any further forward/backward from our skiing hols.

Never mind christmas! roll on January Very Happy

Oh yes Phil bring it on!!!! I have been wanting to ask you if you and your good lady intend to take lesson's next year? I think you are about the same level as me? Happy pottering around? I will and Louise will have to as it will be her second week. I hope she comes on well.

re: Forum activity

Hi Phil

I only found this site last season after we had booked to go to Bansko. Previously skied in Italy, Austria and North America. Loved Bansko and will return next year hopefully. I have made a lot of friends on this site too and still enjoy a daily chat to break up my day at work.

Cheers

re: Forum activity

We've only got a lift pass for Lisa, Robyn, and myself. It's my 7th time on the week with you, 5th for Lisa, and 3rd for Robyn. We'll just be blatting about having a giggle, I'm sure we'll be meeting up for the odd choccy brandy. If Louise needs anything we can help with, we'd be happy to.
Cant wait mate......bloody long time to twiddle thumbs six months Sad

Phil

Oh yeah, if you could manage to do something really daft/stupid for me to video, I'd appreciate it !! Wink

re: Forum activity

Hi Val,
I've just been having a look at Bansko for next year. With hindsight, I wished I'd planned next year a little better. Some bargains to be had.
The board is ticking along nicely compared with last year, but still can't wait for the buzz as hols draw closer, and everyone starts getting excited. During the season, it was manic on here, it used to take hours to read all the fresh posts.

re: Forum activity

I just hope this new board can cope with it. Its all very well having jazzy graphics but it needs to function as well. At times it is dead slow and stop when you're trying to refresh or log on initially. Time will tell.

re: Forum activity

I'm still here but very busy in summer so only get a chance to look in now and again.

I am looking at Bansko and Pamps for Xmas and Jan / Feb next year but I think I will wait and see what happens with snow before booking for Xmas.

I really enjoyed this site last year and learnt loads of helpful info before travelling. It will be interesting to see how the site copes with the winter onslaught.Hopefully better than the Pamps snowploughs in a snowstorm.

re: Forum activity

I'm still here too Phil!!

Will you still let me play next year even though we're going to France? Sorry but as we have only ever skiied in BG we were keen to see somewhere else to compare notes! I expect it will break the bank but you don't know until you try.

I can't see this board coping to be honest it is so slow. It takes ages to "post" items even when it is not busy.

Ho! Di! Ho!

Just got back from my last Cub Meeting for 7 weeks so will enjoy the break!!
