BoroSteve and I have just returned from 13 days skiing in Borovets. We stayed in The four seasons in Samokov. It is only a 10 minute drive to the slopes. Our stay was the best we have encountered on a ski trip to Bulgaria. The accommodation was amazing, so clean and tidy and the service was second to none. Nick and his wife who run the four seasons could not do enough for us and made us feel right at home. The food was top quality and the beer always tasted so good after a hard days skiing. I would highly recommend this hotel. Nick picked us up from the airport and every day drove us to and fro between Samokov and Borovets. Everything about our stay there was perfect if only we could have had more snow. We will definately stay there next year. If it was based in Borovets then I'm sure this would be the most popular place to stay. Thanks again Nick and family for the best ski trip our families have had.
