Hello all reading through the posts has already been helpful, I have a few questions that you all may be able to help with
My son and I are flying out to Bansko on Feb 24, Gatwick to Sofia arrive about lunch time - I was considering booking transfers through bansko express is this a reasonable company price looks to be about £74.00 for 2 I am guessing its multiple drop offs . Could we do better?

We need lift passes and I need to hire skis - I hear some places are better as kit is new and less queue? I dont fnaly dragging my kit everywhere is there a hire shop that is near the gondola where I can store skis and boots? On a 6 day pass could I pick the kit up on the evening we arrive or does it have to be first thing in the morning.
We are staying in an apartment King Samuil - Any ideas of how to get to the gondola for a reasonable cost?
goodness I think thats enough for now !
many thanks in anticipation
Caroline

for two people , I do not think you can beat Bansko express and yes it is to the door.My mum and dad use them and are very happy with them. There are good ski hires near the gondola, you can do everything the day before. I use Bansko sports who I would recommend,up early but I know Ski Mania and Pirin 2000 are good as well,

if you want to get up yhe mountain early, i would not use Ullen as they do not open until 8.30. the others all open before 8.00 and as the gondala starts at 8.30, ...
