From Ireland

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of taking my wee boy who is 5 skiing next year. Which resort is the best for beginners, is 5 to young and does anyone know if any operators fly directly from Ireland to Bulgaria.

Thanks

re: From Ireland

Hi Peter
We took our 4 yr old to pamporovo last march and he went into the kindergarden and loved it, by the end of the week he was skiing almost from the top to the bottom. children had to be over 8 yrs to join the ski school in pamporovo.
we are going to borovets next year and are going to book him into ski school with hunters as they teach them from a young age.
We live in northern ireland and flew with crystal ie from dublin to plovdiv last year but they dont seem to be doing that ...

We live in northern ireland and flew with crystal ie from dublin to plovdiv last year but they dont seem to be doing that route next year so we are going easyjet belfast-gatwick-sofia and the prices are very good, approx £480 all in per head.
cheers hope this helps

re: From Ireland

Hi Peter,

Pamporovo is perfect for children. We take a primary school group there every year, ski instructors are great with kids, can't praise them enough! We see plenty of younger kids at the kindergarden and they always seem to be having a fantastic time!

We fly from Belfast to Plovdiv with Balkan Tours (not Balkan Holidays!) but they also do a direct flight from Dublin. Hope this helps!
