patio pizza or it could be pizza patio its on the main street just down from a place called the famous bar which you will notice as it is all lite up outside. The friendly bar also does a good range of food that kids will eat very reasonable.
If you like tetleys or britsh tea take a box out with you, there are plenty of small spar type shops around, not sure where your staying, there is a very reasonable shop near the lion bar.

On the slopes three are some good little places to eat we found the ones at where all the chair lifts are at the mid station where good for pizza, soup and they do do chips and things.
As Sam said good little shops, as you look at Lion bar just down side rd off to the right, evan sold Earl Grey tea bags, usual cereal, bread, ham cheese stuff for kids.
Don't know if you smoke but most places are very smokey, hopefully it will be warm enough to sit outside with kids for tea, Lion bar does reasonable burger chip kid food and seats outside. Great pizza under the Kempinski hotel near gondola, great take out donuts, pancakes, pizza from little huts all over the place from ...

There is a big supermarket at the end of town. We self cater and its worth nipping in a cab down there, wont cost much at all.
Restaurants. If the kids like chips and meat you will be fine. Most of the restaurants have what you might call an indoor bbq type menu, chiken and chips, steak and chips etc.

At the gondola end try the cafe type place roughly opposite the skating rink. Very cheap simple food and extremely cheap beer, does chip butties! Theres a ski dvd sticker on the window, some think its a secret place, well worth a visit.
Opposite and just down from the casino and bank near the Strazide Hotel is a reastaurant I would highly recommend. It stands by itself, very old looking and you go down steps into it. Once in there there is a huge barrel full of cold beer bottles so you know you are in the right place, good food (kid proof too) well priced, drinks still BG prices and the place always has lots of Bulgarians in there.
Hope you get to read this, I'm afraid I am subject to selected editing on this site.
Supermarket is lovely - very new. Were staying at the Lucky Bansko and its 2 mins walk from there.
Lots of choice in there - we did go to a corner shop last time until we found totally rotten cheese/meat at the bottom of the fridge... never going in that hole of a shop again (however its beer was exceptionally cheap so e bought that there and washed the lids clean!!!).
A bottle of Vodka unknown brand in the big supermarket is barely £0.75 I kid you not. The mrs drinks Vodka when I ...

A bottle of Vodka unknown brand in the big supermarket is barely £0.75 I kid you not. The mrs drinks Vodka when I drink beer (wine otherwise) and couldnt fault it.
The wine selection is good too.
One thing to note - lots of the meat & fish (frozen) are in sealed transluent bags and the pricing is very very difficult to understand - but that was only for a few products. Bread is great and the cooked meat & cheeses reminds me of a top notch Waitrose!!
