As a skier and a snowboarder, I get fed up listening to skiers having a dig at snowboarders. I have to say that skiers are a pain and often less considerate to others (including other skiers). Maybe all skiers should try boarding and then you'll understand what the differences are.
As for queuing, you obviously like it so much as you keep going to the back, so the queue jumpers are just given you a longer chance to enjoy the experience of queuing.

as something to add to that - a skier friend of mine who recently tried boarding was apalled to find how little control he had over direction and handling of the board, compared to skis. although after a week we had it nailed. boarders and skiers take different paths down the slopes, eg intermediate skiers traverse a lot more, and there are bound to be conflicts. let's just take a dig at trees instead, or other things that get in your way...
I found it was the woman who were the worst for queue jumping- either that or they would block the entrance waiting for their mates-it was real annoying when the muppets would stand on the backs of your skis deliberately. they knew you wouldnt deck them so they persisted in doing it. Actually it was the Londenors who were the worst by far.Didnt find boarders a problem at all.
I think everyone just needs to consider other people on the slopes. There are good and bad skiers and boarders. It has nothing to do with what sex you are and what part of the country you come from. My main objection to some boarders, particularly young lads I have to say, is that they go for jumps and flips in the middle of a busy slope with no real idea where they are going to land. They should find a designated park for this in the interests of everyone's safety.
