Just got back, and can honestly say that, we have enloyed this last week sking as much, if not more than any other ski holiday we have taken,

Please, just go with an open mind and be prepared to accept that it is not the Alps. The place is buzzing with nightlife, the people are fine and once you develop a rapore thay are fantastic.

Stayed at the Rila, and it is fine, however it is big with all the potential problems such as noise and mass catering, we would find a smaller hotel, but that is personal preference.

Used Borosport ski school, our instructor Kate (if your in her group send her my love) was very good, very helpfull, and even went out with the group on the final night in the resort. The team in the ski hire and storage depot are fanastic as soon as you appear your kit is there ready. I have my own skis bt my wife hired some, they are not in the greatest of condition, but depending on abillity are ok.

The only thing that is a negative is that we found that the way of group selection wa, shall we say basic, i.e. "How many times have you skied, right your in that group"

The food is good in the bars outside of the hotel, inside you will not starve but it is repetative and does suffer in quality due to the numbers.

Recomendations :

The White House (top of the gondola) Kas & Bobby are doing a fantastic job,
Titanic, great bar where the forum meets, watch out for Bobby with the Rakia.
