Getting between the Ski Lifts

Hi All,

Probably a stupid question but i am new to skiing.

How do you get from one ski lift to another, say for example i skied down Sitnyakovo to the far right, to the end. How would i get back to drag lift / gondola back at Borovetz ?? Same with Yastrebetz, the lifts seem to be away from the piste end.

Any advice will be welcomed.

Hi jimbo,

When you have skied down Sitnyakovo the runs all meet at the bottom of the hotel Rila. From there it is only 5 mins walk to the gondola to take you up Yastrebetz. Coming down Yastrebets you have to ski cross country back to the gondola (about 5-10 mins from memory) but I think there may be some horse drawn taxis for a few lev if you dont fancy the hike !!

Hi all of the above are correct, although I think if you are new to skiing, I wouldn't advise coming down from Yastrebets - it's not for the newcomer!!
