re: Goggles

Goggles are best when it snows if you have sunglasses the snow gets in behind the lense so it makes them useless. Do what I do and take both.

re: Goggles

Not really a must, but a better idea than just sunnies if it is snowing. Make sure your sunnies have a good UV protector. Might just save your eye sight Very Happy Don't forget as well if others are wearing goggles then we will all look like numpties Exclamation Exclamation Where and when are you going Question

re: Goggles

Depends what the weather is like, if nice and sunny then glasses are OK. I had a couple of days two weeks ago when goggles were essential, it got quite foggy and cold and glasses just steamed up, I bought a set of goggles from the shop under the Samokov and they were just the job. (Sinner goggles 49lev, a couple of quid cheaper than you would get here).

As per previous post, take both - you'll look an even bigger numpty piling into a tree you didn't see through the steamy specs Very Happy

re: Goggles

I don't know. I recon if you re a beginner get a good pair of wrap around sunglasses that you ll use again and if you despairately need goggles then you can buy them I'm sure when you get there.

re: Goggles

Goggles are very practical and worthwhile investment even for the occasional skiier or boarder. More than that it is the only really safe eye wear when in a heavy blizzard. You can pick up a more than suitable pair of goggles for £20 (even less if you shop around!).

Get them you will be glad you did when the blizzards come in. I always carry my sunglasses and my goggles in rucksac when skiing and switch whenever the weather dictates.
