Going to Borovets (11-18 March 2006)

Hi everyone,
This website is wicked! It'll be my first time skiing and I will be going for one week. Got a couple of questions...
1 - Should I get the ski pass and ski hire now or wait
until I get out there?
2 - Do people normally do skiing all day every day or do
they go for 1/2 a day and then relax/go sightseeing?
3 - How far is Borovets to Sofia? Do they organise
excursions to Sofia or do I get a taxi/coach?
4 - Anyone else going to ...

hello Chee and welcome to the board
1. NOW, its cheaper in advance
2. yes, but it depends on what you did the night before
lessons are from 10 -12 and 14 -16 hr
3. 1 a 1,5hr drive. YES, they organise it. (I did it last year with a coach all organised with touroperator)
4. sorry, 4 March is my Borodate!!

Hi Chee 17 more sleeps and a greasy egg butty, Questions 1 to 3 answered by the Queen of the Ice-cubes And answered very well might I add. Answer number 4 is yes and it wont be long now and in answer to number 5 you cant ask too many - ask away We love it there but are getting withdrawal symptoms as we haven't been for over 4 weeks now

Hi B&C. Only four days left now....so excited! Thanks for the invite to the Titanic Bar...we'll definitely be there. You can recognise me as I'll be the one in the fluorescent pink & orange matching ski suit...not!
