Hi All, made a big mistake a few years ago, went to the dominican republic for a fortnights holiday and thought the tobbacco is probably cheaper out there, so did'nt buy any to take out. No tobacco or ciggarette papers in sight, whent to the capital and the same there!!!!.
Spent the 2 weeks smoking malbourogh or whatever, spent the rest of the holiday coughing and spluttering.
Just wondering , do they sell golden virginia tobacco? Do they sell rizla's?

As a fellow rollie smoker and GV consumer, I don't think you can get it in the resort, you may however be able to get it at Sofia Duty Free. Definately not a hope in Plovdiv as there's only one wee coffee shop there. I'd bring your own if I were you to be on the safe side. Mind you, I take the opportunity to smoke the Victory smokes when I'm there, its a damn nuisance trying to roll one on the button lift!!Where are you guys off?

Hi IMTYeah, I think so but couldn't guarantee their authenticity. Again, if you're partial, might be better in DF at the Airport. We got offered a glass-cased set of 24 BIG! Cuban cigars for £70 last year but we were unsure as to whether they were the real mccoy or not so didn't bother although they certainly looked very authentic!
