I spoke to Gary Clark (owner of the Snowshack) just an hour ago and he was really positive regarding the current conditions in Pamporovo. He said almost all slopes are open and very skiable. He also said - don't pay any attention to the rubbish being written on messageboards as most are very innacurate. He did say there was some runs that did have a small amount of ice on - but this was easily avoidable.

Good to hear Pete - keep the faith. FWIW I think it will snow for you next week - just in time for my trip on the 20th

i also spoke to a vert reliable ski instructor friend in pamps last night, he said conditions r good and all runs opened

Hi All
I'm in Pamps now and can give an honest report as always!!! Even boarded with Gary and Ellie yesterday!! The conditions have been OK since Saturday so far and we have boarded on the mountain everyday.
All runs are NOT open to be honest - Stoykite 2, and the two blacks under the three man would be impossible for even Alberto Tomba! The big Red 5 (My Fave) is gated off due to poor conditions at the bottom - BUT and there is a big BUT....

You will be able to ski and board as much as you like on the other runs - due to the high temps it is patchy in the afternoon - and getting very sticky after about 3:00pm!
Best to get out early morning and work hard till after 2:00pm and have a late lunch...
The wall is the business for anyone who's got the skills - for those who have not yet Stoykite 1 and the T-Bar Blue are very good and will continue to be all week

Glad to hear that conditions are ok in Pamps. I returned from 10 days on 3rd Feb. Lucky for me I arrived two days after the big dump, things were getting a little icy in places on my last day and was worried for anyone going out after I returned but pleased to hear that the conditions are still ok for skiing. Now I'm wishing I was still there.Hope those of you going out have a good time.
