It has fallen to me as the best man to organize a long weekend (31st Jan - 03rd Feb) in Borovets, Bul. Now how hard can that be?...Maybe like herding 13 cats! We are staying in the Samarov and arrive from Gatwick on Thur 31st pm.
We are all around the age of 37 (God is changing mine to 38 on the Fri...shhh, don't tell the lads!) and we love a good old fashioned booze. Drinking to excess, games, kareoke, live bands etc is our bag.
Can you kind people help me with a list of decent ...

Can you kind people help me with a list of decent bars (with ref to the above) and rough times we should be in each one? Where to start off, where to end up, where good in the daytime if you come off the slopes for a cheeky on etc.
Many thanks for this.
If you are out there over the same weekend then make yourself known. Am sure its going to be a weekend to end all weekends.
Oh and one last thing...which night is better for strutting around in fancy dress?
Have to say as a family man I've not ventured out too much looking for excess but I can make a couple of suggestions...
...Bobby's is a must of course
...there was a bar on the right about halfway up the street going from the gondola to the Rila, opposite the supermarket that had live music every night last year.
...if you must do fancy dress then don't get mistaken by a drunk Russian for one of the "special" ladies
As above I am not one for the heavy boozing...........
Usually a few quiet ones in Bobbys, BJ's then prob to Black Tiger and Francos. There is always Buzz Bar as well although not to much exp of that.......or was it that I just cant remember...
You will have an AWESOME time and the booze wont stop unless you do my best effort was 6.30 am and skiing at 9am. (After a little Hot Choc and Brandy).
Ditto Boon's comments above - Any night is good for fancy dress in Boro. We've been fairies, wizards and bumped into spiderman, a guy in a gimp suit(?) and a group of very large ballerinas.....
Enjoy!
Hey. Thanks for all the feedback. Bobby bar seems to be very popular.
As for the fancy dress...be prepared for a good eye opener on Sat night. 14 lads, flesh and leather a plenty. You won't miss us! You definately won't miss the Groom, haha. He won't find out until Sat night when he's getting it on.
