Hey folks,

Got back yesterday from Borovets and thought you might like an update. Firstly I must say I had a fantastic week, thought Borovets itself was great...

I'll move onto the snow....well... there wasn't much, but enough. We were able to ski most of the runs we wanted to. It was quite icy on a lot of the runs, and there was a fair bit of ground showing. But hey, this probably helped me to be a better skiier, so by the time I get back on snow I'll be amazing!!! lol. The green cut through parts which are used for getting between runs, had zero snow, which was a bummer and made changing runs a real problem. I would go back, but definately not till later in the season, the seasons are definately getting later and would probably never try skiing in Jan again. I went to Serbia last year, I did prefer the runs and slopes in Serbia and it was much less busy, which was a problem in Bulgaria. But the atmosphere of the town and people in bulgaria was much better.

i had lovely sunshine all week, was hoping for a coating of snow, and on Fri SOME came, but didnt really settle.

Well i'm around all day, and if anyone wants to ask me any questions then i'd be happy to answer, and am sure anyone going will have a fab time!!! I've tried to be honest... and would have liked an true update myself before I went, but judging by what everyone had said and forecasts, things were a bit miss leading.
