We stayed at the Rila room 449 ,excellent view of the slopes but a bit noisy at night.I would advise to take some ear plugs (screwfix 40332 £1.25) .Its not a constant noise but as your on the edge of all the pubs/clubs etc every so often you would get a group of people passing by Screaming/shouting in the street below.If you stayed at the back i doubt you'll hear it??
I thought the food was fine but my wife + kids struggled a bit but there was always at least one think they liked.Pool and hot tub was excellent
We booked are Transfers with Earlybird transfers(nightmuffy) which was very good.You dont have to pay upfront ..we paid half when we got picked up and the other half when we got dropped back to the airport.
We also booked are 3xday 5xperson family ski pack with Hunters which was very good value.
We spent the first days on the rila slopes and the last 2 days on the top Suhar/Markudjik slopes.The upper slopes were excellent.

We went to the for the forum meet the night we arrived at the snow hut.I didnt know who was who and Kas and Bobby didnt have their crowns(helmets) on so wasn't sure who to speak to.But after happy hour 2 for 1 which was 2 hours i felt very happy and started talking to a person who i thought was Bobby ,luckily it was him and Kas came over also.They gave us some good tips/advise.... one about Raki.
