Just got back from a week in Borovets which started on 29th January. Weather was perfect... never stopped snowing the whole time that we were there!! Stayed in Yagoda village. Chalets were warm (towel rails very hot... burnt myself and heaters also hot enough to burn Nicks hat!!), food in the restaurant was a little cold but edible. Regular ski mini buses into the main resort morning and evening. Pete's bar ideal meeting place for apres ski as very close to ski hire centre/bus stop. ...

Regular ski mini buses into the main resort morning and evening. Pete's bar ideal meeting place for apres ski as very close to ski hire centre/bus stop. Marmacita's does a very nice Mexican meal (and steaks etc.) Instructors are very helpful and ski school highly recommended as you get to meet new friends... hello to Phil, Jan (Big Sausage!), Tony, Julie (Hot chips!), Phill and instructor Angel... from Nick and Caroline (Come on Barbie!).... Same time next year!!!

We enjoyed the Yagoda Chalets as much as you did (two years ago) We found them bloody hot, but on the last morning I found that each radiator had an individual temperature control hidden behind it! We had to sleep with the window open!
Are those blasted wild dogs still scrounging around?
We're at the Samakov this year, our Fifth time in Bg, so I guess we are addicted.
Cant wait for the weekend!
