Group holiday

Hi peeps

I have been asked to organise a group ski/snowboarding holiday for Feb half term 2008.

Because of the time of year (school hols) and we are on a budget i was thinking of Bulgaria.
There will be 15 of us going at all different levels and ages.
I was considering Borovets as it seems to have something to please everyone. However, i am a little concerned about the lack of snow last season, Is this normal?
If so can anyone recommend anywhere else?

Any advice would be ...

Hi Blink,
There appeared to be a lack of snow over the entire of Europe, still...we were skiing in Borovets the season just been on the 22nd December and overall (including the mid term break) we had good snow coverage all season Very Happy

re: Group holiday

If you have many boarders you may find Bansko the better bet as there are more chairlifts to the better slopes and not so many drags which my son as a boarder hates.

oih bdut,
Bansko in my experience is one of the worst places to snowboard. (especally in Feb) You get these old guys who think they can hammer down they slopes with no though for others.

Mad

are you having a good summer Question

Excellent now I know you got the rain as well. Haven't got everything back for Canada yet but think the insurance will be with AXA. Applied for leg room but they could not confirm as we will be going on a commercial flight and it takes a while. Have you seen the skidvd webcam in boro its ace.Have you heard any more from Karl on wether they are going to Bansko same time as us. Keep those spears sharp.

AS one of the old guys it will be good that a few of yhe young ones will be there to slow things down except for Karl of course. Mind you they may have been practising. At least the beer will flow well with that lot there. Bring your hollow legs.

re: Group holiday

Fiona, the lack of snow in Europe was only until the end of Dec.After that there was plenty and even more that normal to the resorts with height of 1800m above sea level. Please state only facts not hearsay.
