Guaranteed Snow??!!

Just read on this site that in Borovetz there are 6 cannons to ensure artificial snow even if we are let down by the real stuff. Is this the case? Would appreciate any inside knowledge. It says on the site that these will guarantee the ski season for a full four months.re: Guaranteed Snow??!!

Snow cannons actually make very small hail stones, not snow.
Snow cannons only work when the air temperature is below -5c. Not a problem at the moment. How I wish it was a balmy -5c!
