I feeling very guilty – After a nice week last New Year in Borovets – I recommended a friend go there with their family - flying next week, Looking at the weather forecast it may not be as good as it was last year! But who to believe? This website http://www.igluski.com/bulgaria/borovets-snow-report_23499 says 25 cm of snow at the top and this one says 115cm http://www.j2ski.com/snow_forecast/Bulgaria/Borovets_snow_report.html who is right? It may be academic with rain later in the ...

Not sure if this is going to help, but although it was raining in Borovets for a little bit this morning, it is now snowing!re: Guilty
And...it is also snowing heavily down in Samokov town now and is expected to carry on all day / night.

All sorted!My friend and family have been given a doctors letter stating they have Swine Flu in the family, (although it looks like a runny nose to me!) the Insurance company will pay out on that basis - so he is able to cancel and not lose any money! They are planning of going back to Italy at half term.
We are having them around for supper on the day they were due to fly so I feel admonished!
