HELP - SKI HIRE!?!

I will be travelling to Bansko on Saturday, and will need to hire equipment and book lessons for myself and 10 friends. I have heard that it is cheaper to book before you go, as compared to getting it all in the Resort.

As it would appear that this is the case, and we are travelling independently of any tour operators, does anyone know of a way that we can still book the equipment hire and ski school before we leave?

I expect that to benefit from the tour operators prices, you must book your holiday with them, but if anyone knows any different, or any other ways to keep the cost down, it would be great if you could let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Gordon

re: HELP - SKI HIRE!?!

It's the only way you can get them so everybody says. The equipment is not so expensive it's just the lift passes. The operators buy them in bulk so get good discounts. They are nearly double the price in resort.

re: HELP - SKI HIRE!?!

That's my impression too. I have the same problem, having booked independently. Haven't been to resort yet but have spent COUNTLESS hours hunting on the net trying to get a better deal than in resort with absolutely no success.
