HIRE (I'M CLUELESS)

I'm going to Bansko on Saturday and cannot pre-book the lessons and equipment before I leave. I'm concerned that it is supposed to cost double (approx 300 pounds) if I cannot.

Do you have any advice on where I can get an All inclusive beginner package preferably for Snowboarding. (looking for passes/board/boots/3x2hr instruction over 6 days.

(Supposed to only be 145 pounds with the tour operator but they won't allow me to book it.)

Also will I need to buy a ski suit? First time ...

Hope you can help

Only decided to do this for a laugh and a week on the

I have been to Bansko in march 2004 and loved it. From a beginners point of view the resort is difficult and testing but you will have fun.

The nightlife is as lively as you make it, and my wife and me had plenty of fun in the lively bars in the cutural set town.

Read my report http://www.thisisthebarmyarmy.co.uk/bansko2004/bansko_report_2004.htm I am sure you will have a great time and from what I understand Bansko as got so much better since then!!

In respect of the ski packs, I do understand that they are cheaper bought in the UK due to UK tour operators achieving cost econmics on price. I also cannot advise on the cost in resort for tourists as we purchase a full ski pack in the UK.

Hope this offers some help

re: HIRE (I'M CLUELESS)

why won't tour operator let you book before you travel - it's the best option.

Julie

Sometimes if the customer has purchased a late deal they often do not give the added incentive/extra value of a cheaper ski pack options

re: HIRE (I'M CLUELESS)

Booking the package in advance is somewhat cheaper, but the prices locally are still affordable. Have a look at .

At the moment de skiway to Bansko is open and this is excellent for beginners. For boarders the last part is not too much fun, since it is rather flat.
