Has anyone got any information regarding this Hotel , Iam aware that it is linked with HOTEL EDEILWEISS and is a brand new hotel.... but its location is a little difficult for getting to the slopes - does anyone know if there is ski bus that can take people directly to the slopes (or kindergarten at the Rila?) - anyones suggestions or contact details would be much obliged!

Stayed there January 1998 at that time it was a real \'relic\' a throw back to the mid 60\'s?! The room can be described politely as \'tired\'?!
Poor ,food,small quantities (made a kids motorway special meal look huge!)
and a disco/folk bar which was never open.
However some brochures state that it has been refurbished since I was there.
There is a real authentic restaurat opposite which sreves great food.
As for getting to the slopes I would say that it takes about ten ...

Hey Alex,the Bor is in the old centre of Borovez, and yes it was refurbished last year and this summer. You need around 10 to 15 min walking to the Rila Hotel.
On the way you can shop all you need in Jimmys Supermarket and try the Tschuschuliga Restaurant, authentic Bulgarian Cuisine and Wine for the best prices in Borovez.

I met people staying there when I went to Borovets last January.They said it was great and they ate like kings all week! (Unlike us who stayed in the horrible Hotel Flora!)
