There are seven of us heading out to Bansko during half-term and I was wondering how busy the slopes really are. My wife and myself were there the week before half-term last season and had no problems.
Unfortunately it has to be half-term this season due to our friends children.
Depends at what level you are with your skiing. If you are good enough to do some of the more advanced runs you will have no problem. Last year we used to start early and be on the slopes for about 9. Ski till all the schools start arriving. Have a coffee break. Once they get spread out ski again. Stop early for dinner. Ski again when the schools stop for dinner. stop when they start again till they spread out . do more runs when they all finish. Never queued at all last year by doing it ...

Sounds good I've been skiing for 25 years and enjoy a good blast down the Alberto Tomba, but some of our party are novices so will be using the ski school. Like yourself I like to be on the slopes early for the fresh snow and also to get a good few runs in before everyone else falls out of bed.
