Have you booked flights for kids for next year? You could be due a partial refund

Yes people, it really is no joke. Air Passenger Duty is scrapped for kids flights as of today. It only affects the ages between 2 and 11 but if you have already booked tickets like I have for 2016 or for any date after today, please call the airline and request your refund for the APD that you will almost certainly have already paid. I guess it depends where you are flying from but for the price of a phone call I just got back £13 per child booked so that's a total of £39.
