Heard of this before?

I own an apartment in an aparthotel and have not signed up to the developers mangement/rental agreement. The developers are insisting on my friends/family paying them a rental fee per night even though personally I would not be charging my friends/family for using my apartment. Has anyone experienced this within their apartment complex or aparthotel? Do the mangement company or developers insist on a renatl fee?

I suppose you should check your contract with the developer? Sounds a very dodgy Bulgarian clause to me.

If you stay there, do you have to pay the developers a rental fee per night or is it just your guests? Are you sure its not a 'utilities' fee?

No I don't have to pay if I stay but if friends/family stay they would have to pay for staying. I have paid a maintenace contract for the common areas. If I stay I have to pay for the use of the spa centre etc.
