Heli skiing is available in Borovets.
You need a minimum of 8 people.
They are not operating at the moment as there is not enough snow to complete the run.Heli skiing takes place away from the resort heading more towards the West.
Cost 3OO.OOBGN per person.

When I went in 99 our instructor (Mario incase he still works there) asked us if we wanted to do it. As this was only our second week on boards we said no. Had been aiming to do it at Bansko start of Feb, doesn't look too likley now though!
We have been looking at this over towards Goverdartsi, the trouble is you cant just get dumped in the middle of nowhere, you need an able and experienced instructor, you need good comms, and you have a choice of copter, an older small Mil, about 1300e per hour or a Bell at about twice the cost. Personnaly unless youve done it before, i wouldnt bother thinking about it.
