Just wondered how most people transport their helemets when travelling by air to Bulgaria?
I read the flight information has a size limit for hand luggage, but without taking a HUGE suitcase just for my self I'm struggling to fit it in my main luggage! I just wondered if people have got them through as hand luggage - and if so, included in your hand luggage bag or as a seperate item you just carried with you?
Or do I just need to take the massive suitcase?
Rob.
I see a lot of people just strap their helmet to their ruck sack and carry it on as hand luggage. I manage to fit my boots, helmet and clothes into my suit case and case wieght comes in at around 19.5 kg. If you have skis then salopets, socks gloves etc can be placed in the ski bag.
Hope this helps.

We travelled out in Feb on Easyjet and we just stapped our helmets to the bottom of our rucksacks for hand luggage. Saw a lot of people doing the same thing
We put my boots in the suitcases - one boot per case then the Mrs boots in hand luggage.
Helmets fitted between the two suitcases. We thought our cases were going to be over the 23kg but turned out to be a mere 16 & 16.5kg's each. Result so on the way back we really filled up the cases from hand luggage & a few bought items... guess what not even 19kg's....
Cheers everyone! I'll try put it in my suitcase! not worried about weight so much as looking a bit daft having a suitcase which usually does 2 peoples luggage on a normal holiday, just for me for the week! haha
Never mind! Thank again everyone!
