Helmets

I'm not sure if wearing a helmet is definately required for a beginner (as I dont think I'll be going that fast.
Can someone advise on this If it's definelaty recommended.
If so can you hire them in boro?

re: Helmets

it wouldn't be a bad thing. when i first went i had a couple of bad bumps on the head boarding,it was my own fault though for trying to go fast before i'd learn't the basics.make sure u feel comfortable stopping and turning at low speeds before going too fast and you'll be fine.

re: Helmets

If you're boarding, I'd definitely recommend wearing one. Falls can be quite rough even if you're going very slow (and you'll notice you fall on the head, especially bakcwards, a lot more often than when skiing).
I know I'm not going anywhere without mine anymore!
