I'm pretty crap at this internet stuff. Have just typed in something very innocent and got downloaded loads of full on porn whose address had nothing to do with what I typed in. Have 3 kids. Anyone tell me how to stop these sites from downloading, otherwise will have to stop kids from using 'net?Any advice (in single syllable words please!) will be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok, get a pop-up stopper first ... just type 'pop up stopper' into Google and it'll point you in the right direction.Also, while on Google, click on Preferences (at the end of the bar where you type your searches) half way down the screen that opens has something called Safesearch ... switch it on.
That's the 5 min solution that'll work most of the time ... for anything a bit more advanced, think about getting a Net-Nanny ... a program that filters out any words you don't want. They can ...

They can be a bit over-restrictive ... i.e. I'm sure there are thousands of sites with the words willy or pussy on them somewhere (like this site now!) but Net-Nanny will filter them all out, porn or not.
