Help - Plovdiv weather sat night

Just heard the dreaded announcement at the airport telling us the incoming flight from gatwick has been diverted to Sofia because if yhe weather and we are now awaiting further information as to airlines plans, has anyone had the same happen, will they bus us to Sofia? How long is the transfer?

One plus point is the free wifi at plovdiv, makes it a bit more bearable.
