Help PP or those in the know!

I am trying to book accommodation through this web site and they want me to fax through all my card details etc to a number that I dont even know is valid - which I am obviously not happy about!
How do others pay via this site ensuring card security?
At least this isnt a much asked question re below!
Or perhaps it is as booking time grows near?

I was also asked to fax card details when I booked through this site a couple of years ago and had no problems.

Understand your concerns, but it's just the way they operate. Not heard of any issues from people using this method.

Oh and I have been told I can pay by bank transfer and the bank 'would not recommend faxing all card details' by which they mean any probs count us out!
