Help Re Xmas booking

Hi I am thinking of going sking for the xmas period and have a few questions1 What are the snow conditions generally like then?
2 Are the lifts open all throught the christmas period?
Any help would be much appreciated

we went to Boro over Xmas just gone, arrived on boxing day. The first 3 days were really poor conditions but lickily it snowed on the 3rd day and gave us enough snow for the rest of the week but toward the end of the week the rocks were beginning to come through again.
It didn't put us off bulgaria as we booked again for 2006 but during feb this time as snow reports seem to suggest this is the best month.
As i uderstand it the resort only opens mid Dec so we thought it was a little to ...

I would not reccommend it-I am going to Aspen in Colardo skiing for xmas then onto Switzerland-and poss Borovets in Febre: Help Re Xmas booking

if i had johns money,iwould probably spend xmas in Aspen,January in St.Moritz and Feb and March in either Val De serre or Innsbruck but i aint so i have already booked for next christmas in Borovets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!re: Help Re Xmas booking
Hi Mike,I dont come to Borovets for the skking or hotels- but just for a good piss up with like minded fellow boarders/skiiers
