We've had a minor disaster. My sister in law due to travel to bansko with us tomorrow has been admitted to hospital and my brother in law is staying behind with her. He's hoping he might be able to join the rest of the family on Tuesday but Balkan do not have Tuesday flights. Anyone any good advice on who to travel with from Manchester, preferably, to Bulgaria and on transfers to Bansko.
Any advice gratefully received!!
So Little Al, best I could found is around 300 pounds a lot of money, fly from manchester to munich starts 6:55 landed 9.55 and goes to Sofia 13:30 landed 16:30 bg time in Sofia. Not sure but believe there is a bus in this time or may be it is cheaper to rent a car and take him from the airport is around 30 euro. Back 16.55 sofia ended 22.30 in manchester.
Thanks for the help. I suspect that it's a week in Sunny Chorley for the pair of them now, most disappointing after a year of anticipation - there's always next year!
Regarding transfers from sofia to Bansko, you can get a taxi from the airport to the bus station (10 lv) and then a bus to Bansko will cost 7 lv. The Lonely Planet guide to Eastern Europe is the best plave to look for information.
