Here is the definitive list for places to eat and drink in Pamporovo, or 'Whats Happening in Pamps' (with appologies to everyone who submitted there content, as i just cut 'n' paisted from the previous post.

The Castle Tavern / pub ( obviously as i live there whenever we can) Niki and Svetla are great people who have run the place and the lobby bar at the Castle for since it opened in 2006. Simple but great food and great atmosphere when a crowd gets in. Good prices ...

The Castle Tavern / pub ( obviously as i live there whenever we can) Niki and Svetla are great people who have run the place and the lobby bar at the Castle for since it opened in 2006. Simple but great food and great atmosphere when a crowd gets in. Good prices too
Danmar - by the bus stop outside town. Small and quiet but very good food are really nice guy who runs the place. Again local and has been ther for years, simple food at a very good price!
White Dog - Ski Centre 2. Best place on the mountain for a drink and snack during the day and a snifter at the end of a hard days riding. Pete, Andrea, Ilia and Rossi are some of the best people we have ever met in Pamporovo and Pete is pure entertainment as well asbeing a pretty handy ski instructor!!!
Mountain Lodge at tv tower/ top of snezanka. Grat place for a beer at the top in the sunshine and very cosy inside when you need a warm! Nice guys who run the place and always remember you!
Alex's Pub next to Malina ski school is another great place for lunch - good food, great prices, great people
My tip for best food on the mountain - Peters Bar without doubt.
Markony is without doubt the best hotel food I have ever experienced in Bulgaria - and a lot of other countries come to that. Peters Bar is amazing, how they turn out such tasty food in a little place like that is beyond me.
The Lodge always did a great Chicken and Chips at lunchtime but again - it's been a while since we ate there as we always use Peters Bar during the day.
Pretty good at the Brothers Cafe too.
Yes, Markony is great. White Dog, Peters Bar, Danmar. all great food and good value.
Mourgavetz BBQ for a great evening out with entertainment.
Snezhanka Mehana (downstairs past the swimming pool) is also very good.
I have had good feedback from Gloria Mar - slightly more pricey but for something special worth a try.
Chervemeto (not sure if spelt right) also reputed to be a fantastic night.
Mourgavetz bbq used to be our fave place for traditional bulgarian food and entertainment for years but we went to Chevromento at christmas this year and have now found a new number 1!
The spit roast lamb in that place is dam good and entertainment great!!! The added bonus is that they will send billy out to pick you up from your hotel and take you back after you have had enough - leaving you to drink lots of beer, wine and local rakia

So true about the chicken and chips. 1/2 a spit roast chicken and chips 9.5 Lvs. Less than 4 quid. Bargain.re: Here it is 'What's Happening in Pamporovo'
Can't comment on the skiing, but by all accounts it is a classic year/season....

Hi paddy, thanks for the update .Not sure if you are at the castle now, but I have read that they are looking to open some sort of wild animal nook with fawn and deer.
Is this true?

I would not be in a position to comment, I cut and paisted that from another post, so it is not me that lives there, I will be in Pamps next w/e so can check it out then, although some one on the ground now may be able to update before then.
