Myself and family are arriving in boro 29 Dec, has anyone had a stab at the long term snow forecast yet? Went to Arinsal, Andorra last year and all snow was artificial. Staying in Rila Hotel this year and according to previous posts I have seen, seems like a decent place?re: Here we go again with another cold snap due

I skiied on some runs in Borovets 2 yr ago where they had snow cannons on Martinovi Baraki and you could tell it was from the snow cannon.....pretty icy...really weird stuff!.

In the mornings when freshly prepared, the runs were great, sadly because of the higher temperatures (reason for no snow) they deteriorated fairly quickly when the crowds use them. Coupled with this is the fact that a resort can only maintain so many artificial slopes and this means quite a few are closed. No matter, the family nature of the resort kept us entertained. However, more is expected of Borovets!!!!
