Bulgaria Ski discussion board

To all my fellow snow sport lovers, well I say sport but with all the beer I consume I sometimes ask my self?? Any who, had another fantastic trip to boro this year and in the build up I read this site every day (became addicted!!) and would like to say thanks to everyone with their stories, joke and comments. I love the debate of Ski vs board well I have been a skier for years and never fancied boarding, however this year I had the worse hangover and was in trouble on the lift you know that panicky feeling I want to get off right now!! Well fortunatly I stayed on rather than take a daring leap on to a tree of which I would never really do so dont worry but when I got to the bottom of the mountain I decided NO CHANCE am I going up there again (Need to mention I was on my own with said hangover as my friend couldnt get out of his pit!! same hangover)!! well I thought what am I going to do with the next couple of hours as I had got to the pist around 1pm!! I decided beer was out of the question (anyone blame me??) so I decided to have a snowboard lesson.... Well apart from bruises every where I did enjoy it and after the lesson practised for about an hour at which time my friend turnd up laughed at lot at me and then persuaded me to go for a beer!!!! Needless to say the next day I borded (our last day) and had a fantastic day and to the amazement many around me was hitting the reds Snowboarding? More like falling with style. Since returning home I have been to the Snow dome in hemel and continued my assult on the Snowboard! Am I converted I here you ask or Traitor I also here by the sted fast skiers!! Well I say this I will perfect my Snowboarding so I can do both and when my youngest children are old enough to hit the slopes with me I will be able to do both! Back to the question, no not converted just can now do both and enjoy both. I think all Snow sporters should try it as long as you dont mind aching like crazy when you first learn! Back to what I started with here is to you all enjoy the sping, summer and when autumn comes WINTER is next and with it Snow, Skiing, Snowboarding and lots of beer!!
