Hi all, just signed up and Im hoping to keep coming back for info and for snow updates!
Me and a mate are out to borovets on the 28th, Im lucky enough to be spending the two weeks before that in Banff. We are both boarders of differing abilites!!
Anyway, I was out in Borovets 3 years ago and at the time the lift pass was essentially a piece of waxy paper. Has there been any upgrades to the modern proximity activated passes in my time away? Or if not how often are you having to show the ...

Hi villers, the passes haven't changed and you still have to insert them into the turnstile machines every time you go up. As for the fun park have a look on you tube theres a few vids on there and ive heard they've made a few improvements and additions this year. welcome to the board by the way!Paul.

Passes are the same. If you dont have one suggest you buy a pull clip for your pass so that it is easy to get to . Cheap accessory and makes it easy to use. Even used it in Banff to make it easy to scan pass.dbut

Fun park has been moved from top of the Gondola slope witn no drag to Rila slopes serviced by a drag so much more useful these daysre: Hi and question about the lifts in boro...
Hi, by 'Rila Slopes' Im guessing you mean at the bottom of the hill opposite the Rila hotel where the big jump used to be on its own?The retractable pass holder thing was one reason for asking about the passes

When did they do that Terry?Used the fun park last season and they had a rope on a wheel type of drag. Where on the Rila slopes have they moved it to?
