Hiya,
I will be travelling to Borovets late January for the 1st time - cannot wait!
I am toying with the idea of hiring over buying ski pants, & jacket. I would appreciate information such as price, quality, availability, etc of ski clothing from the resort. Any relevant information is appreciated.
chis buy here best place t k maxx and matalan.. dont spend a fortune .. dont know any where in boro that hire clothes how ever new ski gear is cheap to buy in the local shops in boro ..if you have booked ski school you will not have time to buy before your ski and boot fitting boro great place have a great time
To be honest you can spend nearly as much on hiring gear as you will buying it. You do not need to go out and get top quaity gear for your first time. As said above Matalan and TKMax have some great bargains. Also if you like skiing which I am sure you will and you have hired clothing what about next time? Dont forget you can use the jacket to keep you warm in the winter here.
tk max and matalan def have some good deals or if there's a costco near you... at least you know what you're wearing is yours!
my jacket is brill for rainy days etc here too as mentioned by daniel... my advice is definately buy, well worth it.
we picked our trespass jackets last year from costco and got them for under £30 each, have worn them many a rainy day as well as skiing las year in pamps, on dry slopes and in castleford and still going strong. pretty sure tk maxx had trespass ...

do a search in google I came across a site that was doing trespass jackets for £20 tk maxx has salopettes for around £30, or ebay plenty of stuff on there.
Try tscibo also they have good jackets and salopettes at good prices especially if u are near one of their outlet stores (eg next to Xscape in castleford)
aldi are doing dirt cheap no-fear gear...decent colours and styles etc too. i just picked up some roxy gear for my daughter today in tkmaxx...lovely and pink. again dirt cheap
Intersport have a half price or less sale on, mainly trespass salopettes and jackets but cebe etc accessories also included in the sale. Just been this afternoon to tie up a few ends - was well impressed with their prices. Some cheaper than that which I'd paid in TK Maxx
